Dash light short?
The gauge lights in my 81 euro don't alway work. If I tilt the pod and wheel sometimes I can get the right side to light up. If I hit a bump they flicker a bit. Anyone know a good place to start looking?
If your'e referring to the pod lights at night,
The holders for the bulbs themselves can become loose. There are a couple you can reach from the bottom just enough to put pressure on with your fingers. See if the light comes on then. Mine were lose and all that was needed was to pull the bulb and slightly bend the two copper legs on the plastic holder away from the bulb (towards the plastic part) to make a tighter spring fit.
Or-
The dimmer control may have a bad spot on it.
One way to troubleshoot the dimmer control is to either reverse the two wires at the dimmer, With the aparking or headlights on, the pod lights should be full-on, or temp. connect the two wires together and the same thing should apply, the pod lights should be full-on. If the problem is the dimmer control, a shot of CRC may clean it up.
Somewhere to start, anyway.
