Dear All (1985 US, 32v, 5.0L),
My kit from Rog came in yesterday and I am in the process of of replacing the engine bay fuel lines. I got 6 ft of hose and not too sure why I have so much. If someone would be so kind and post a picture or diagram of all the fuel line in the engine bay that I am supposed to replace, I would be most appreciative.
I did a quick search and didnt find what I was looking for although I have not searched the cd manuals yet
. Time is rather of the essence for this project as I must be done by the time the wifey gets back
Thanks to all in advance.

Roger also mentioned that you should put some Vaseline on the metal fittings to make it easier to slip the hose onto them. Even without the clamps they'll be tight enough to handle 50psi.

Sorry about the 6' as it should of been 4' - you got some extra.
Big Dave has said it all - just be carefull when taking the old hose of the fittings and do not damage them with deep cuts. Only cut deep enough to get the old hose off.
You could use some soap/dish washing liquided - a slight coating only if you have no vasaline or KY handy8>)

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?
