Default vacuum testing guage

I need to purchase a vacuum guage. The local Autozone has a pump style with a guage and container for brake bleeding attached. Its about 30 bucks. Is this the right tool for the job? Thanks in advance gang.

The weapon of choice is the MityVac. You can get a cheap plastic version, or a better metal one. Either will work.

Great tool to have, Ben.

If you need to, you can borrow mine. I've also got a few dozen adapters to mate it to whatever.

Hey Don, I might take you up on that if you don't mind me dropping by for a quick test! It would be nice to meet you and see the newly inspected '84. Hope the weather holds up for the Hillcountry drive this Sunday. I'll e-mail you for some details about the vac tester. Much appreciated!

MityVac is great for vacuum testing and such, but the dedicated power bleeders are better for brakes.
