Can someone run this VIN for me? WP0JB922DS861337 Its for my 83 I just never thought to check it.

missing a number in the vin you have 16 instead of 17 numerals

OK so I when out to check the Engine # and at first I thought I was looking in the wrong spot but after checking and rechecking I see that the small rectangular area where to # should be is flat(no etching marks at all)!!!! WTF!!?!?! It dones look like its been filed down or anything so why is there no number? I wish I had a digital camera to show you this because it dumbfounds me.

It's possible that a replacement engine was installed. I THINK I remember that some replacements had no numbers on them.
