Default Is this normal? (shift coupler bushing - RV)

Hi

I have an '86 4.7 16V Euro manual.

I am in the process of stripping the car down to do a few jobs, and have just removed the gearbox.

The gear change coupling at the gear box end contains two plastic bushes, should these be round where the pivot pin passes thro' or is it normal (correct) for the hole to be enlongated? It doesn't look like wear, its just too neat.

Before I order a new part for no reason, I thought i would check with you guys.

Photo attached.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
John Busby

Enlongated is normal. That looks ok to me.
