Radiator pull successful, now what?
Just wondering if there are any tips or things to watch for when reinstalling my new radiator. I am using the all aluminum one 928 intl sells. Mark says the fitment issue of the past has been resloved but was wondering about other things.
I noticed it had a strip of foam on both sides, I assume replace it? Is it special heat resistant foam ( I doubt it, it crumbled away) or the stuff at Lowes?
Also, I didn't need any slim wrenches, there was plenty of room in there to get everything off. I hope the new one going in is as easy as this one came out!
I have needed this for years and it will make me feel a lot better about driving in heavy traffic. Time to run to the store for some beers!!

Yep, Slow one that lasted for quite a while. Two days after selling my truck it started leaking bad. It is my daily driver so I had to fix it. Driving a chevy Malibu rental right now. Already started looking for another Jag. I need two cars.
Thanks Joe, thats what I was planning on doing. Just wanted to be sure there wasnt some special foam that Porsche charged 20 dollars a foot for, LOL!
