Manuals on CD in the UK
On the UK 928 list there is a much spirited conversation regarding the copying and distribution among listers of the manuals on CD (seems to be no problem in sharing over there) as well as a site to purchase such a CD.

Has anyone seen this manual. I was wondering if it is another scanned copy of the paper manuals. I purchased a cd of scanned manuals from a user of this site and it is pretty good. I would be interested in making a purchase of this cd if it is not a replica of the same thing I already have. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'll let you know when I receive them. I ordered a set because I wanted to compare them to the pdf I'd done of the hard copy manuals. The one's I did are text searchable, one file per volume including wiring diagrams. I've been procrastinating for months now on adding bookmarks to make navigation easier.

I would appreciate it if you would let me know as well. Having my 928 for 3 months now, I am finding out that I think I am also in need of the PET CD, parts list with exploded views. I would also like to purchase a set of the shop manuals as well as have them backed up on a searchable CD.
Thanks to all of you out there on the advice given to help maintain our cars.

I went to the website:
http://www.928.org.uk/list.html
The only thing referring to a 'list' is the mailing list...
Is this something set up like a forum? Would I be able to read old messages - or just receive new emails...
THANKS
