Post Pics of car before and after

I think that I got the pictures backwards. But here is the car before I bought it.

And here is the picture of the finished product.

Excellent! I love to see one of the best cars ever produce being brought back from the dead. One less parts car...

One of theses days, I'll post my before and after (although there may never be a complete after picture)

Anyone else have some good resurrection stories/pictures?

I am glad to see you have your Shark on the road.

It looks good!

This is a good topic. I am always interested in seeing pics and hearing success stories of "saved" 928s and restorations. Keep em coming!

Jim, I paid 3,000 for the car sight un-seen. Another 500 to ship it from Kansas to Michigan. Here are a few more shots of the car in the process of re-build. This is when it arrived in Michigan.

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/arrival928.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/arrival928.jpg</a>

This is after I pulled the front end to see what was wrong.

This is how much I removed to repair and put straight.

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/aftercut928.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/aftercut928.jpg</a>

And it turned out to be a five speed!

Gio, the car has 71,000 miles on it. And Dozman, do you have any gatherings in the spring with the Detroit group planned yet? <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

Chucker, we meet informally every month (2nd Thursday). Location varies.

Once the salt is off the roads in the spring, I'm sure meetings will become more organized. Did you see the post about the tech session last Saturday? It was a blast! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
