OXS doesn't go out ?

Post OXS doesn't go out ?

Hi,

I have reset the OXS but it doesn't go out totally, It fades when engine reved up but does not go out. Also alternator only charge to 12 on dash. Drops to 10 at idle.

any ideas?

The oxygen sensor warning light has nothing to do with the operation of the oxygen sensor - it is a mileage counter, period.

Oddly enough, the alternator exciter circuit is what powers the oxygen sensor mileage counter. You might try just disconnecting the counter in the housing between the passenger seat and door.
