Mr. Administrator:

It has come to my attention that new users (and a few veterans) have difficulty with adding pics, links, etc. to their posts. I also have noticed many questions regarding avatars and "Rennlist Member" display.

Perhaps an Admin topic would be in order to help alieviate these persistant areas of concern.

Ah, yes this is a good point. I tried to follow Drewster67's directions and I am still not able to post a picture. I am no computer wiz either so I may be doing something wrong. Well I am doing something wrong or it would work! So maybe some different directions. I was able to get all the way to the part of uploading and retreiving my pics, those were good directions. <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" />

At the top of the page is a link labeled faq for frequently asked questions that answers a lot. And in the new and not so new admin posts Randy address how to post pictures.

As Shane points out, all the info you reference is contained within the 'topped' Topic "General Information for New (and not so new) 928 Owners"

Perhaps you might want to read through it at your convenience.

I think I'll modify the title of that Topic so that others won't have the same problem.

I hope you know that my tounge was firmly planted in my cheek for the original post...

I know the instructions are in the top post, but it is obvious from the number of questions that come up that many people either just don't read it, perhaps don't perceive that there are some administrative items included.

At any rate, info on the Avatars and getting "Rennlist Member" attached should also be addressed.

Perhaps an Admin topic something like: Image posting, links & Avatars" would be more to the point, and would reduce the number of times we (collectively) have to respond to these types of inquiries.

This is certainly no big deal.

At the top of the page right below POST REPLY is a link called "faq" and it lists all of these questions and should you scroll down you will find the corresponding answers. And personel avatars can be had by sending the pic to the adminstrator.

I also don't have the Rennlist Member logo. I sent an E-mail to the administration more than a week ago and have heard nothing.
Do I have to have a certain number of posts before it appears ?
