Default Fuse #1 - 15 amp or 5 amp?

Hi all,

While double checking all the fuse amperages on my '89 S4 auto, I noticed an inconsistency (probably just a typo) between the specs on the Porsche charts (the four cards that came with the car) and the listing on 928 Internationals website.

The Porsche chart specifies fuse #1 should be a 15 amp, but 928 International lists #1 as a 5 amp fuse. Is this just a typo on the website, or was the rating for this fuse revised somewhere along the way?

Fuse #1 is for the Central Locking System on the '89 S4.

Not all model years are the same, but for '89 it is a 5amp for central locking system

So Porsche has it listed wrong on their own documentation??
I'm referring to the four cards from Porsche (928.610.023.03) that list all the fuses and relays.
White cards with large green numbers in center of each card.
Card 2 indicates a 15 amp for fuse #1 - Central locking system.

That part number shows up as a '87-'88 Relay chart, but it shows 5 amp as well, when you looks at the various fuse charts at www.928gt.com:

Go to tips & links
Fuse and Relay charts by Model Year. It shows that from 79-84 Fuse #1 is a 16amp fuse. '85-89 shows 5amp, my card from my '86.5 shows 5amp as well. From '90-'95 it show 7.5 amp fuses in position one.
