I would figure for most a 5 k shift point will be sufficient for hi performance driving
since it’s unlikely that you will be timed or be racing for position the speed generated will be quite high
If your seeking max performance shift at redline

5K I assume you are at peak horsepower with S4 cams. Not sure about GT though, but I assume there is less "fall off" than the S4 cams.
