Help! S4 clutch line questions... Pleeese!
I'm nearing (I hope) the end of an auto-to-manual conversion on my '87 928, and need a reference for the layout of the clutch fluid lines:
Does the slave cyl hard line run under, or over the starter?
Where does the hanger for the flex line bolt up (part#928 423 189 01)?
Is there some clip that holds the master hard line to the body at the flex hose hookup (I see a hole near it's end)?
Any help/pics would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff -
The hard line runs over top of the starter. There are 2 brackets that hold both sides of the flexible clutch line junctions. (1)There is a bracket that uses 2 of the oil pan screws on the driver side of engine that is used to hold the junction of the clutch hard/flex line. (2)There is another bracket that holds the the hard/flex clutch junction that screws to the back of one of the 2 sway bar bolts (the drivers side bottom one). Sorry no pictures. Good luck!

Thanks Paul! Got some pics from Greg Nichols too. Between those and your info, I've been able to locate my missing bracket.
Now just to figure out how to bypass the auto starter relay...
