Steering Pod Lever?
OK, so I don't feel smart right now. I took the beast into work today to have new tires and tie rods put on...a valet decided to adjust the instrument pod and screwed something up. Driving home, I felt the pod start moving up as I turned the wheel. So...
Searched on Rennlist, SoCal928, and Greg Nichols website and can't find anything about this. Like I said, not feeling real bright. The pod adjuster lever lost a washer and a bearing "couplet"(?), which I fished out. Got them back on the rod, but I am obviously missing something, as the lever will not go back to where it was.
Any aid would be greatly appreciated. I started to just take off the steering wheel and go from there, but I decided not to get too hasty til I heard from one of you bright guys (and girls, sorry).
Thanks in advance,
