Default Oil in center intake tube missing under accl!

After intake rebuild I notice a skip I removed all the plugs 3-4 look a little darker then the others but not real bad. I found a little oil on the center intake tube also. I am going to check my Inj connectors , just replaced but not sure how to really test then for there connections or know if they are firing.
Help please

Use a GM noid light to test the connectors.

A noid light is a gadget available at many auto parts stores. Since you've got it apart again, put in the ford injectors. You plug the light into the injector plug and turn it on. The light flashes when the injector fires. Get an air/fuel meter while you're at it.

An Air Fuel meter will not work in this case. If an injector doesn't fire the the exhasut mixture still be the same as if it was.

As mentioned above a noid light is just a test light that you plug into the injector connector and it will light up when the injector is to be triggered. You will have to put the intake back together each time to test each injector so it is a little bit of an PITA.

What you can also do, since the injectors are already out, is test each injector with a small 9V battery. If it clicks and you can see the pintle moving than at leat you know that injector should be working. However without putting pressure into the injector and then testing it, there is no real way to know if they are 100% good or not.

I have a feeling that maybe there was some mixup whe the new connector ends were installed. A noid light would show this, but it takes a little time.

what is with the title?
HTML Code:
 Oil in center intake tube
they all have that! Give it an Italian tune up and you will see the smoke as that oil burns away after it is sucked into the motor.
The oil usually comes from the breather system
