Replaced heater valve, still blows hot, now what?

Hook up a mity vac and see if the arm pulls in, the Vac line is going into the firewall on the drivers side reachable with air cleaner off. If it pulls in and air is cold this is not your problem. You also have a Temp sensor in the alternator hose, mine was bad causing the same issue. With pass side footwell off open the connector with 2 yellow wires use a meter should read around 300-400 Ohms to test sensor. You could add a T after your check valve to supply Vac all the time this will close it. If you add it to the brake booster vac hose when you floor it you will get a blast of hot air. Under the Driver foot well all the hoses meet you can nut each one, get a supply of connectors and test with the vac tool you mat find one or more bad ,leaking vacuum.

If you feel brave, while your in there, you could do my modification to the heater valve. Gets rid of that blast of hot air when you return to you car after a short stop. (makes the defalt position of the heater valve 'off').
