Nice looking car.
"if I don't sell by 4/1/03 price goes up $to 9,500"
Call me crazy, but doesn't it help to *lower* the price when a car isn't selling?

Jessa,
I agree but it looks like he needs the Bucks, RIGHT NOW!
BY April 1st, he is probably expecting an Income Tax Return..., or, the actual need for the cash will have been taken care of by then, or, perhaps he needs the money for a major purchase/down payment like another NEW car or House requiring a lowered credit card balance or that big down payment at closing....
Who knows? The 87',if it ain't blown, would be a great purchase at that price even as a fixer-upper.

The fellow Weissach owner -still sniffing around for excess cash with an eye on the Weissach market-.

I was reading through all the past messages and saw this one. I drove this car three weeks ago. It is definitely a 'fixer upper', but might be worth the price for the right buyer.
This is the car that I mentioned on the e-mail list that had the 'interesting' tire arrangement. It had the front and rear wheels installed on the proper ends of the car, but it had 225/50's mounted on the wider rear rims, and 245/45's mounted on the narrower front rims. The tires were all the same brand, type, age, and mileage.
The car had lots of other issues, but I thought that one was kind of humorous. The seller wasn't too amused when I pointed it out, especially after he got out the owners manual to prove me wrong. He was a real nice guy, but his car needed some help.
Regards, Mark
