I grew up in Rochester but moved 20 years ago. My dad is still there and looking for a shark, so I asked this of Hinchcliffe (Curt) just the other day. His recommendations included two shops in Victor, CDI and Harwood Automotive, and Craig Autometrics in the city proper. Victor is semi-close to Geneva, about 30 miles or so. Rochester to Geneva is at least an hour. Ironically, I bought my daily driver ('95 BMW 525 wagon) from CDI about 7 years ago and drove it back to Texas. I cannot, however, speak directly about any of these shops' 928 expertise.

I could do it, depending on where the car is. I'm a 6 year owner now and do everything myself to my car, I've had three. Let me know what you want to do, I may even know him. I'm the "Den Mother" for the region 928OC and also the DE Registrar for the Niagara PCA region. Let me know.

Geneva is about 30 minutes from my house. Craig Autometrics is very good, Kurt Hertel is a rennlist guy and works there, not sure of his Rennlist id, but he's a 911 guy. CDI is good, there is usually a 928 there from time to time. I have my heavy duty work done there. Harwood is new, but very good, they are right down the road from where I work.
