Default Cruse Control wires not connected under wheel well !

Located in the Vacuum ***** for the cruse control under the drivers wheel well
I have 2 wires, brown and Black with White stripe both with small female spade connectors not connected. Before I start taking things apart are these not used or has PO disconnected them for a reason. If they are removed where do they go not much room to see and I assume they were removed for a reason, yes the cruse does not work!

They are probably the wires the the Euro/ROW side turn signals you don't have. The looms are common - so on US models they just dangle there...

These may be the connectors for the ROW side markers, and are not connected to anything. The only electrical connection for the cruise on '87 and older is on the vacuum actuator, and that has a specific plug, not loose spade connectors. The "vacuum *****" are for that entire vacuum system, not just the cruise.

This was the thread for when I asked the same thing:

I recently took apart the same spot on my car - found the same wires.

Black with a White stripe is the correct color code for a rear/side turn signal wire on the Left side of the car, Brown (Ground) is the appropriate wire to pair with this for a turn signal bulb... So I'm pretty sure thats what is it (and it is not supposed to be connected on your car).

The round canister with a vacuum line on the top? It's for the cruise control.

The round canister is the cruise vacuum actuator - that's what actually holds the throttle position when you turn on the cruise. If it's not working, it could be a vacuum issue, but most likely the cruise amp is not working. Dave (sharkskin) has a great write-up on the CC:

It sounds like yours may actually not be connected right. Can you take any shots of under there to give us a better idea what specifcally you are referring to?
