SoCal activities weekend of May 25th
There are activities this weekend for all 928s in Southern California.
On Saturday, May 26th, there is C&C (Cars & Coffee) in Orange County. There is a group of performance cars leaving Alhambra on Saturday morning between 6 and 6:30. For meeting information, PM and I'll send you all of the info.
ON Sunday, May 27th, there is VCR (Village Coffee Roaster) Woodland Hills. If you want a good spot to park your Shark, ya gotta arrive no later than 7:30. For more specific information, PM and I'll get you the info.
Let's all enjoy a good and safe weekend

I plan to do at least the VCR event.
The run down to C&C with the Alhambra crowd can be pretty exciting, at least per some of the video posted from the drivers. Looks like an average of 80+. I may get a bit of a headstart and pick up the tail of the pack for the last miles in.
Larry--
Still need those wheels?

It would be great to see you at C&C, and I'll watch out for you on the 5 freeway on the way down. Yes, I still need the wheels. I'll probably contact you later next week to pick them up. I don't plan on using my car while the wheels are being refurbished. Hope to see you Saturday or Sunday

"I'll keep an eye out!" "I'll keep an eye peeled!" (although "Keep an eye pealed!" has a better ring to it...) Does anyone else agree that these sound darn painful?? I just can't see clear to put stuff like that in normal conversation.
This is only half-kidding; June-July will have me under the knife for some serious eye repairs.
OK-- I'll be the not-skinny guy with the white hair (what's left of it anyway...) See you this weekend!
