I think we had 4-5 sharks at Coffee and cars this a.m. Great to see a turn out of sharks. Dr. Bob came down and the rest were locals I believe.

I counted 5 with the white one parked in the entrance area. There was Ron, Larry, Dr. Bob, Rob Edwards, and the white car at the entrance area They were all S-4s or GTs. Good showing

No pictures, sorry. Not something a photographer does on his day off, LOL! The coolest of the bunch I remember was the Original 60's Grand Sport Corvette, the Mini Pickup truck, Bright green Carrera RSR (?) among the typical Ferrari's, Lambo's, Lotus and Porsche's. It takes something really special to stand out in that kind of a crowd. There were a few people checking out the 928's. In fact on the way home a guy next to me at a light was asking questions about my car.

I like the days when we could park where we wanted

7:15 a.m. at coffee and cars, the lot was almost full. Maybe 25 spaces left and they went fast. There are cars across the street and in the PAG lot. I hope your meet is as successful as ours was. One of these days I will make it up there.

Great to see everyone yesterday! Wish I could have made it up to VCR, but yesterday was a pretty good show. I think my 3 year-old, Dec, had a good time, especially sitting in the driver's seat and honking at people. Here he is during a moment of relative calm:

I also had the pleasure of following this blown, caged and tubbed Nash metropolitan out of the show. You could see global warming happen when it cleared its throat. I don't think those ladder bars are just for show......

Haha!! That can't be street legal with those tires on it. The Callaway Vette was still hanging out around 11:00 or later when Dr. Bob and I came back from the Spectrum while waiting for his wife. You should have heard his car when he jumped on it. Made a siren sound from the turbos that could be heard from all around. Very cool.

Those days would be Monday through Thursday at almost any of the venues.

Chris, great meeting you! Too bad about the back and the late arrival. Maybe next time we can get the cars together in one area instead of strewn across the whole 20 acres as they were today.

----

Larry was there at VCR a few minutes before I arrived at maybe 7:10, easy since he's minutes away. Roger from Brea was there late too, and was at the way south end while Chris ended up even later and at the way north end. There were Ford GT's parked in the outer fringes with them, for instance, so it's not they were discriminated against by anything other than the clock.

I think next time I'm going to shoot some video while rollerblading through the show. There are so many neat cars there that you almost get numb to them. Rows of Ferraris and Lambos, they all start to look the same to us the un-redeemed. No good way to get good still of every interesting car there.

VCR was definately happening this morning. I had suspected that due to the holiday, that there would not be that much participation; however, I arrived at 7:10am, and there were less than 10 spaces available in the viewing area. Dr. Bob arrived immediately after me, and we were able to park next to each other as evidenced in Brian's photos. Damn, those sharks look cool

I stopped by VCR with my 928 around 9:30 or so. Had to park out near McDonalds but on my walk over i saw a silver 928 with stock wheels. I also saw the red 928.

The Vectors were at Coffee and Cars in O.C. too. I see them a lot at shows. He is really making the rounds with them. Must be drumming up interest for another shot at investors. Gerry isn't looking so good these days. Post some more photos.
