For sale again...
I am having trouble posting via Exchange / Outlook... Lyris keeps telling me not to use HTML and I am sending plain text... lets see if this direct post works better.
I tried doing this (selling) last year, but was able to fight it off and not sell... This time it is happening. I have enjoyed this car immensely for the past few years, but want to drive something else for a while to carry my new wife, frinds and motorcycle with me. Also, getting tired of paying lots for maintenance, as I can't do it myself (no time and not a great mechanic either).
I will provide general details on this message, but will be glad to provide extensive details (with available proof) on all maintenance and paint/option codes to interested parties:
1989 928 S4 5 Speed Gray/Linen @ 139K miles
- 17" 92-93GTS/C2 Turbo Replicas with good Pirelli 7000 SuperSport (Original 16" rims in great shape with Pirelli P700Z, but those are probably bad/old).
- Really nice sounding Kenwood Stereo with 10 CD Changer in trunk.
- Alpine Main Amp using Porsche's original speakers in front and rear.
- Linear Dynamics Sub Amp and after market replacement subs on door pillars (original location).
- After market Kenwood alarm (in conjunction with working original alarm) with integrated windows and sunroof closing.
- Front and rear AC.
- Driver seat with memory, lumbar, heat, etc.
- Standard dings and scratches with no damage.
- No dash cracks.
- No damage on seats or interior except for small damage on Driver's seat back.
- Perfect glass.
- Everything works.
- Mobil-1 15W50 always, used frequently.
- Recent:
* Alternator.
* in-tank fuel pump.
* Cylinder Head gaskets.
* Timing belt , water pump and belts (couple of months ago).
* Oil pan w/baffle.
* Torque tube, machined fly wheel and misc seals.
- Within the last 2 years:
* Clutch and clutch related (bearing, fork, etc.)
* Slave Cylinder.
* Plastic cup on shifter mechanism.
* Short (GT) shifter.
* Fuel Pump.
* Front Pads
- Within the last 4 years:
* Timing belt (first time, second time a couple of months ago)
* All seals gaskets, belts, hoses, etc.
* Radiator and coolant tank (Porsche).
* PS Rack.
* Pads and front rotors.
* And many more miscellaneous little maintenance & repair items.
