Recirculation Flap ?
Hi,
In trying to figure out what exactly is going on with my a/c control unit, I noticed some strange doings with my recirculation flap... (i.e. opening and closing at various points on the slider that don't correspond exactly with markings). Wondering if someone can tell me, definitively, at what positions the recirculation flap is supposed to open, and at what positions it is supposed to close? The car has the automatic climate control system with no a/c button and the possible settings off/eco/auto/bi/def. Specifically, if I move the slider in between "off" and "eco", the recirc. flap opens. If I move it to "eco", it closes again. If I move it a little further (just left of "auto"), it opens again. If I move it to "Auto", it closes and stays shut for auto, bi, and DEF. What is it SUPPOSED to be doing?
