Pricing help needed for parts FS
Since the 928 is on its way out, my dad has decided to clear out all the spare 928 parts. I was going to start selling them... The thing is, we have no idea what they're all worth, so I hope you guys could enlighten me. I'll list as many of the parts as I can remember. These are all out of a pale blue metallic '83 S L-jet, unless otherwise stated.
16V US engine, 85,000 miles - $600 ran great
manual tranny - $600 worked great
rear hatch frame and glass - $75
quarter windows - $25 each
front bumper frame - $15 or I'll give it to a recycling center
headlight assembly, black - $20 each
EDIT: I didn't see a TT so I think my dad was imagining things when he said he had one. Also, prices added.

Thsiis how much I would ask for them:
$500 for the engine and $500 for the trans (are the synchros good in it?)
Torque tube = $100
Rear hatch with glass = $100
Quarter windows = $25 each
Front bumper frame = maybe $25 Or you might want to take it to the scrap yard (aluminium is $$$)
headlight assembly with buckets = maybe $50 for both

Yes, the synchros are all good. To be honest I thought the tranny would be worth more, but I'll take what I can get. And I guess an 83 engine is nothing special.

If the gearbox has LSD its worth $1500 to $2000.
Without $1250 to $1750.
Depends how quickly you want to sell it as well.
The lower the price the quicker the sale.

Really? I don't mind waiting a little longer to get a bit more than $500. All this stuff has been in storage since my dad's first 928 was borrowed, crashed, and parted about 15 years ago.
Is the manual TT different from the auto TT?

Here'e the catch! That little longer might turn into years or never. I would suggest to just sell it to the first serious buyer.

Yeah you have a good point. It would be nice to get that garage emptied and maybe fit a car in there. I'll head over to my dad's garage tonight to take a look at the parts and get the tranny code.

OK, I finally got my dad to let me into his garage. The transaxle is not LSD - I tried turning one axle cup and I watched as the other axle cup turned the opposite direction with little resistance. I got some numbers off the case, if you need it. My dad wants $800 for it. I'll post it for 600.
The engine is complete with intake and fuel rails. The timing belt has been removed, but it didn't break! The engine is still good. My dad wants $600 obo.
We also found a set of dark blue 928 floor mats (the ones you kick around, not the ones that go underneath). They have "928" in very light blue/gray in Porsche font.
On everything else we'll just take offers 'cause I don't know what they're worth, and it would be nice to just get them out of the way. Local pickup preferred but not required.

Check 928 Intl's used prices and guess based on those.

We get the prices we do for a number of reasons. First we are a business with people who answer the phones 45-50 hours per week , we ship nearly 90 % of the parts same day ! , we take credit cards (which gives buyers some recourse) , we WARRANTY used parts for a FULL YEAR , we have been in business for nearly 20 Years selling 928 parts and plan to continue doing so. We also have a HUGE INVENTORY of parts with cars coming in all the time. So what we get for parts really should be far different from what an individual gets in a garage clearance sale where there is typically no warranty that the parts are even any good. If a part fails in ten months can you really provide a replacement or refund all the money ? We can and do !

$500 sounds more like it.
