84 Euro S - AT Tranny.

I've been told that the exhaust tail pipes should not exit on the left rear of a 84 928s. Mine do (with two tips). Is this true or is this a Euro thing?.

The reason being, I may purchase an aftermarket exhaust through the powerboker - Tom Cloutier - and he states that the tail pipes do not original exit in the rear, on a 84s, and questions whether I have a late model rear bumper.

I dunno?.

Sure they should, provided by "left" you mean looking at the car from the back. Not a Euro thing at all. Maybe a miscommunication?

I suspected as much. I don't think it was miscommunication.....at least I hope not. If I'm going to spend 600+ dollars for exhaust, you bet your bottom dollar I'm detailed oriented.

I suspect there's just a bit of mis communication;

"rear" as in S4+ cars, straight out the back
on the left
"rear" as in S- cars, at the left rear corner
could be considered side exit
