Can someone tell me how much torque I need to tighten down the intake manifold? Thanks! Ian

For your Model A Ford?

Seriously, there is a LOT of difference in a '78 928 and a '95 GTS. We don't know which you have.

I know the exhaust manifold is 15 ft lbs for 77-84, but my Chilton Manual does not list the intake specs. N/A at the time of publication - Speculation tells me it's 15 ft.lbs. but please verify with Wally's website. 928 Specialists

It's funny but according to the manual the 924 and 944 require 15 ft lbs for both intake and exhaust for 77-84.

A check thru the Factory Workshop Manual didn't turn up any specific torque values for the intake manifold for the '82.

I don't have the Tech Specs booklet for the '82 here, so I don't know whether it lists a specific value or not. The booklet for the '86 does - it shows 15 Nm, which is 11 lb/ft.

Not much help, I'm afraid.
