Default Horn contact ring

Hey guys,

what should I use to lubricate a new brass horn contact ring on a pre-airbag steering wheel?

Thanks in advance

Purple wheel bearing grease like you would put in boat trailer axles. A thin coat'l do ya.

Nothing at all, if you drive it frequently. Brass on brass in this sort of application needs no lube. Lube will actually attract crud and cause problems. Assemble clean, and don't worry.

The grease is not intended as a lubricant in this case.
