Default Climate Control Blower Motor

My blower motor quit. I replaced the resistor pack (one of the resistor coils was melted ) thinking it would fix the problem.

No go.

I've checked the fuse. I know that the 88S4 uses the same relay for different circuits. Can I switch out a relay from something else to the blower motor to determine if the relay is at fault?

Try moving the AC head slider to the DEF position - fan should go to max check you have power at the motor connector (or at the resistor pack).

No go in the DEF position. I can hear the little climate control sensor fan start up in that position.

How do I get at the motor pwr connection?

Start at the output of the resistor pack - goes direct to the motor.
