Car. What is the difference between the areo mirrors sold for 911's and the ones sold for 928's ? They look the same in the pictures I have see.

And in my quest for a unique look, does anyone know if the 935 mirrors have the same angle that our 928 side windows do? I think its probably close enough to get it to work. Anyone?

My understanding is that the aeros are the same, just different bases which can be purchased separately.

Yep... it's the base that's different. IIRC we're using the same base as the 968.

The 968 bases (same as the 944) are just a bit different. There is a slight gap of maybe 1/8" in the middle of the base when used on a 928 door. Later style bases from a 996 have a completely different mounting screw (side mount with a hook instead of the top down style of the 968/928).
