Well I have an 84 and an 81 (with only 220HP) and I find both to be very capable and enjoyable cars.

BTW - I have seen prices for 84 in several places and they seem to vary;
in fair condition ~ $4000 to $6000
good condition ~ $7000 to $9000
Excellent ~ $10,000 to $13,000

Of course these really depend on what your interpretation of condition is; however, with low miles, good maintenance and everything working (a PPI is the tell all) the car in the ad looks and sounds to be in good condition.

I think a nice low mile car, even a 16v (like mine), is a good deal at that price. You couldn't revive an old dog for that price. By the time I am done with my car, I will have more money invested then that.
