Default Cheap S4 on Autotrader - needs transmission line?

No affiliation, etc, etc.

Maybe a deal, maybe a scam - friend's husband dies, broken transmission line, 2 other Porsches, no time to fix. Mind you he is probably at least an hour from any dealership, so it would be a hassle to get the car fixed.

Looks pretty clean. For $5900 I'm not sure how wrong you can go.

The interior shot almost makes it look like a 5sp, but there are some other upgrades (Jager?) so maybe it's just a different shift ****.

Yeah that's an automatic transmission.

I wonder how they diagnosed the broken line? Waited until it stopped rolling or started slipping?

If the transmission isn't damaged, it would be a cheap fix. Just got mine redone from a local rubber company for $45. Not including me taking them off and reinstalling. Wasn't a bad job. Couple of hours and three beers.
