Default Two test ports on back of motor ?

The two metal test ports with the rubber caps on the back of the motor attached to the intake manafold; I believe they went to the cats. With the X-pipe, cats removed are they still necssary?

Actually they connect to the exhaust manifolds. I don't think mine were ever used so I just removed them and plugged the exhaust bungs.

They are for CO testing before the cats, if you don't need them, plug 'em.

Mine were both rusted and leaking. I removed them and plugged the holes on the exhaust manifold with locally purchased bolts. JB weld sealed them in place.

Or you can just get a BB from Ace that fits inside the stock fastener and seal it up with that.

Thanks,

It isn't a bolt thread. Using a bolt isn't the proper way to seal them. There are plugs available to seal them. You can match it up at a specialty hydraulics house if they carry alot of metric fittings. Roger also sells them.
