Difference in Mahle fuel filters PN KL21 & KL40?
Ok so looking for a new fuel filter, I am looking at Mahle, as my most recent one was a Mahle. Ive come across a chart that has cross refrence number for different parts and it shows the Mahle filters # KL 21, KL 22, and KL 40 to be the same filter?
Are they, is there any difference? This same chart also shows Porsche part numbers used to be 928 110 147 05, 253 00, 253 03, and 253 04?
Are these all the same filters, why the different numbers even for an OEM manufacturer, wouldnt Mahle just use one number? Why do they have 3?
If anyone can shed any light on this that would be great

KL-21 for your car, x-ref from that Ryan. I have a collection of them I picked up by accident someplace. I'd send you one but shipping is more than the filter costs.
