Default 1979 5-speed 928 - Craigslist Minneapolis

For some reason I'm thinking the 5-speed 928 is somewhat rare? No?

Nice but I wouldn't pay ten grand for it. Besides the color not being one of my favoites - its got those checker board seats that only Andy Warhal would love.

Other than that it looks pretty clean.

The seats are the thing. They alone in such good condition are worth the asking price of the car.

I didn't think a chin spoiler was an option in '79?

That's the least of my concerns about this car. But just like the original owner of my 78' - lot's early cars owners opted to have the spoilers put on later when they became available.

There was a very similar '78 that sold on eBay lately for $11k.

IF it's in as good shape as the seller claims I'd say it's about right. Love the completed log book.
