Thumbs up Finally broke the 400RWHP Barrier!!!!!

I'll post this on the Dyno thread as well, but I wanted to share my "new" dyno numbers for all the 85-86 Sharks out there

My highest numbers 432.58 RWHP 391.33 RWTQ (red) were achieved this morning .

I had the tech post my previous 399/382 (blue) before installing the 044 BOSCH fuel pump and Ott X-pipe.

Notice the 389/400 (green) run. That was at 5300 RPM but the tech is conservative and thought it was leaning out too much?? He did state it felt smoother with the leaner mixture.

Can't wait to SharkTune and get rid of the BEGI FPR

Darien,

that's down right scary-those numbers!.

Did you ever get your 2.5 inch true dual exhaust installed ?.

That's worth around 12-18 more ponnies.

Can you post some pics of your supercharged motor.

Good Luck
Rich

Great result ! Was the X pipe the only change of hardware ? (I assume fuel pump relaced a faulty stock item)

Any change to EZF ?

Awesome, possum!

The 100RWHP/TQ jump from my '81 to '86 was niiice, I can't imagine another 100!

That reminds me, I gotta get something like this:

KnockSense

I wish I wasn't such a 'retard' about electronics, I'd make one!

Impressive! That's very very close to the "bigger" 32 valvers, the boosted S4s.

Wow 15% humidy.... must be nice for dyno runs. Up here we never get anything even close to that. Even in the middle of the winter the humidity is around 35-40%.

Holy crap. I could cut the commute to my son's daycare in half with that.

Beautiful Darien!!! Some one said you are close to the boosted s4's. I will tell you that you have passed mine! I am 405-385 but my fuel is a little off(alot!). I need to get on my IC project and get the fuel right, then I should see 450-480 hp. Hopefully....
