I guess one of the reasons I don't like them (besides that they totally interupt the lines of the car) is that they don't do a thing. If you look at where they line up vs most other cars, with the 9298 being so low compared to most cars (especially SUV's and minivans), they aren't going to protect the car from door dings at all.

If they actually protected the car at all, I could see why they are stuck on there. Although I would still not want them.
