Default Parting out 86.5 auto (updated with new list & prices)

A lot of the parts are already gone from the parts car (’86.5, Auto), so I revised the list and lowered the prices. All prices are in USD, packaging is but shipping is not included. I will only charge for actual shipping cost and nothing for packaging. Everything, including the prices, are very negotiable. I would like to completely part out the car by the end of the year.

Seats front and rear (leather with cloth inserts, very nice condition) pick up only- $300
Engine (32V, 5L) - $1500
Power Steering Pump -$50
Air Pump -$50
Sunroof motor and cables -$75
Exhaust manifold "shorty headers" (also fits 16V engines) only the driver side is good -$75
Axles -$40/each
ABS pump -$50
Air filter box (top and bottom) –$50
Steering rack small leak, good for rebuild-$50
Front fenders pick up only -$75/each
Hood pick up only -$75
Doors (inside panel not included) pick up only -$75/each
Fuel level sending unit (in tank) -$30
HVAC panel -$40
Headliner (sunroof type) -$40
Glove box door (good cond) -$40
Rear tool cover (good cond) -$25
Headlight motor - $20
Rear wiper motor - $25
Overflow tank with cap - $25
Wiper arms (front or rear) - $10/each
Door glass - $25/each
Quarter glass - $25/each
Fuel tank with cap (no key but is unlocked) - $60

There is still a lot more parts but these are the ones I can think of.

Does the overflow tank include the level sensor, and does/did the sensor actually work?

Hi Imo....looking for the upper latch housing (key barrel not needed, mine is fine) and latch lock peices (white plastic tongue) for the rear hatch; it's an alarm hatch. My housing is cracked. I too have an 86.5. Do you have this part? Also, front door speakers and grills, and front door tweeters and grills. thanks....

Hi Imo - one other part if you have it - the auto transmission shift cover plate that sits in the consol. Mine broke where the plastic connects to the shift lever. I repaired it, but it's a temp fix. I'd like to get one of Nicole's leather auto boots and *****, but I think I need a good plate cover to mount it to. Please let me know....thnx

Flyingdog,
The interior is dark/chocolate brown and everything has the same shade. What I mean by that is the panels, carpet, seats, etc, are all the same colour.

WICruiser,
The overflow tank includes everything that is attached to it and if you need some other small part that isn’t, It’ll throw that into the deal too. The sensor had to be working because the low coolant warning light was off. However I can test it before shipping.

Linderpet,

Both the upper and lower latch was sold and is gone but I will check it tonight just to be sure. The door speakers are still there and I believe are the speaker grills too, The tweeters are still there too but grills are something that I need to keep for my ’85, they were missing when I bought the car. The auto shifter plate was sold with the shifter before Christmas. I will check the speakers/tweeter and grills tonight.

Ed...check with Nicole. That rubber boot kit may come with the plate you need. When I bought mine (before Nicole was selling them), it came with a plate so I could remove my cracked one.

Bill,

Sorry it was sold the alternator right before Christmas. However I still have the rear cover of the alternator that the cooling pipe attaches to. It's a little worn but if you cover shipping its yours at no charge.

cloth inserts don't have the Porsche script, do they?

I might have an interest in the final muffler, if you still have it and it isn't perforated/blown out. Shipping would be a bear though.

SMTCapeCod,

No script on the inserts but they appear to be factory originals. I beleive Devek has the same seats in blue (noted on their garage sale post). However they must be rare cause, besides Devek, no one I've talked to seen one before. The inserts are brown with white vertical pin stripes. I have the matching door inerts too (borwn with white pin stripes). Shipping them from Canada is very expensive.

The rear muffler is still avaialbe. It's in one piece and the car sounded normal when I ran it, so I would say the muffler is not blown out.
