Andrew,
I am sure I speak for the Texas group in that we will be traveling together from the Dragon to Banner Elk. Anyone wanting to join us is welcome.
Could you please give me details of the route we used last year?
Thanks,
Roger

Agreed,

and I think we should plan to stop at that store and get a T-shirt.
Linda is bringing dramamines. So I'll be free to explore what my new suspension can do

Cheryl & I will be there; probably via New Orleans or College Station. How's that for choices?

How do we link up at Comfort Suites in Alcoa?

We're about 50 going on 35. I'm ugly and Cheryl is beautiful and reigns from a wheelchair. We use it to tow the aging Horizon Blue GTS!

Look for us!

Paul C.,
Have you looked into Ginger for the missus. If she offended by the taste, reported to be effective in suppressing the effects of motion sickness
http://www.healthgoods.com/education...rbs/ginger.htm

Amazon had some candied ginger last time I looked. Not sure of dosage.
May see if that helps. Don't think ginger ale has enough ginger content. But it's a mighty fine beverage.
Nothing like having a motion sick passenger (and driver) to ruin an awfully good time.

Where's the inertial dampers from Star Trek when you need some.

Rog-

I have a flyer with directions to the dragon, and then on to SITM. It'll be at the front desk when you check in.

This is shaping up to be a great opportunity to meet alot of fellow Rennlisters and peg the funmeter before SITM even kicks off. I'm getting pretty excited.

Ben,
Can't wait - trust you will join the TX group for the trip.
Just don't mention Presidents and the beer will flow 8>)
Can't wait either - just have to get my GTS back on the road and the 78 sorted.

SITM is a blast, but I have to say making the Dragon part of the trip doubles the fun!

Just think, in 3 weeks we will be driving the Dragon!

I'm sure that we'll want to caravan with others once we leave the Dragon Fri. am, so Roger, perhaps we can tag along with the Best from Texas!

Rog,

I was beginning to think you would never ask. It would be an honor to hang with the Texas group for the day. :

Last year, Linda came very close to being sick in the car. for some reason, movements do not affect the driver, but the passenger can be at risk.
I have a brand new, tight suspension, time will tell if that will make things better or worse for her
