There were other models that used Pascha too. They should be made aware of this. Maybe we can get enough to support various colors.

Yes. I think the 911 and 944 had it too.

Rob:

If I were you, I'd contact other Porsche upholstery shops around the world and ask them to share the burden with you. If you have four other shops, maybe every one can take 16 meters (for four cars), and you guys sell it at a higher mark-up to cover the risk and time for storingi it until it's needed.

It sounds to me like it's possible to do... even for multiple colors.

I'm in too. Same preferences color-wise.

I've been in contact with a few others around the world. The stock they have now has lasted 20 years or more so they're not too keen on reordering.
It seems only myself and one or two others from the states have inquired about it.

The 5k X 4 or 20K X 1 investment would be quite a gamble. The logistics of spreading the word, collecting the money, ordering, shipping, cutting, reshipping are not attractive especially for little or no profit.
A person could spend a lot of time on this and end up with only half the amount needed.

I'll pursue this further and see if there's way to get it done another way, but its not at the top of my list.

BTW. The color is black and beige. Not black and white. I'm told it was never white anyway.

I think it would be cheaper, better, longer-lasting to make it in leather.

Rob, you should post a seperate message about this. This thread is about my gallery and some might have tired of it. Title it something like "now taking orders for Pascha material by the meter" and see what happens.

I'm sorry about that. I guess I got carried away.

I'm not ready to start taking orders. Its a project that needs more work and thought than I can afford right now.

Default Nick's Club Sport?

Hi Bronto,

love your idear. Good on ya!
However, what makes you think that the white 928 in the pictures is a Club Sport? I know he bought a wrecked CS and put the engine and running gear in his black UK sourced SE (sport edition). The white car is clearly a pre 1986 car with his remanufactured sticker on the fender?

You're right, I went back and re-read the email he sent me regarding the CS, and the car itself is an SE outfitted with some CS components. He had the CS emblem made.

I know of a 924 (ROW) with Pascha. The owner believes it's original and it's pretty beaten up, so it may well be.
