If you want to be fare to other sponsors and the owners of the board,Yes get off your wallet and pay a sponsor fee. I really didn't care either way. But since you asked.......
If i look back A LOT of your posts are about cars you know of for sale or have for sale and you have not been shy to ask for money. Then on that last car you sold on ebay for the BIN, you started 2 posts on it. I feel this was done to keep your name on the board showing that you sell cars maybe hoping to spark a PM from a shopper. I feel this post is also a "look at me" thing as well
I think you need to pay a sponsor fee. IMO

But, IIRC you've already admitted that you expect a "finder's fee" so you should be prepared to ante up or go away.
P. S. Now I've read some of your other posts today. I think Randy's correct.![bigbye](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/xyxwave.gif)

I think it's great to find out what these cars are going for. Although I can't afford another one,
I'm always looking!
I voted, 'stay as paid sponsor' however I have no clue how much that costs... it might be too much
to make it worth it.

It was an extremely small expense. Many other sites run totally free, I hope John is not getting hosed by running the list.

How about I don't post anymore cars for sale on this forum, other than the member to member forum. Plain and simple, if I do post a car for sale in the 928 forum, ban me with no exceptions. Seems pretty simple to me. You can save this post as your basis for doing so when and if the time ever comes.

I know what my company has on the back end to support our web site - it takes up a small room & we do not have the traffic Rennlist does.
Not to mention the number of full time employees that work here to support our site and they make a very good living.
John & Jen do this alone + they have full time day jobs.
You are comparing apples to oragnes. I may have the number wrong (the 250,000) I'm going from memory.
The idea that "other forums" do not charge vendor fees is BS anyway.
VWVortex & CorvetteForum are other very large web forums - they do everything they can to protect their vendors since they are the ones keeping these sites open (financially)
Check out the rules on the CorvetteForum – they do not allow ebay links either
Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making it free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services.
Forum members are welcome to sell a Corvette or Corvette parts they purchased for their own personal use. Anything else is considered to be a commercial sale.
Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads

Here's the real deal:
You have previously been offered an attractive option to be a legitimate Sponsor of this site at a very reasonable cost. You have refused, yet continue to use Rennlist as a profitable marketing venue at no cost to you - most recently selling a GT to a Rennlist Member through this site.
Therefore:
You will not start any new threads, or contribute to existing threads, discussing cars that are for sale by third parties (listed on eBay, Cars.com, etc.), cars that you have for sale, or cars that you have sold.
In the event that someone else posts one of your car sales here - either as your agent, a shill, a mole or inadvertently, you will not contribute to the discussion.
Starting now.
