I forgot to mention that I checked in the WSM and didn't find any procedure to remove the heads with the engine in the car. Did you find one? I look straitforward, but it always help to have a procedure so we don't forget anything before pulling on the head (and it also help for doing the installation in the correct order).

The WSM has a small one sentence blurp that says something like "the heads can be removed with the engine in the car" thats about it. It's pretty straight forward, but expect to bash some knuckles and your back and arms to be sore. Two BIG things to remember that I learned here was carefully remove the cam box so all your lifters don't fall all over the place. You don't want to mix those up. They need to go back in the same order. I lined them up in cyclinder order submerged in oil. The second was give the heads a little love tap with a rubber mallet to break them free. They will be tight but eventually they came out. Don't forget to remove the rear engine hoist bracket.
