Brian, you have a sweet looking car. It is exactly the same guards red with cashmere interior S4 that I have been searching around to buy.

Is there a section on this site that posts wheels for sale?

I couldn't find it. I'll look again

Click on the 'classifieds' link at the upper right of any forum page.

Best bet is eBay.

A modern set of 18" wheels will greatly update the look of your car.

Many examples in this thread:

Does anyone have a recommended mechanic in the San Gabriel Valley?

In the Pasadena, Alhambra, Montebello area?

I want to drop it off for a once over. Fluid change and just go over the car for me.

Thanks

Surely one or two of the 15% responders in the 'where 928 owners are located' poll, who reside in California can help ya!

Pretty sweet story, btw, re: your client selling to you.
As an ER Doc, I have always 'believed in the barter system'... if you will.
However, not quite the same 'clientele', necessarily, as a fine watch store!
(I did get a bag of homegrown tomatoes and a bottle of homemade wine, tho, when I was an intern in CT!)

Hmmm. about that career change . . .
Best!

Update for today.
I looked thru the folder. This guy kept Everything!
Original receipt, a stack full of records. I snapped a few pics.
His original European Delivery documentation.
All letters from Porsche regarding his Euro Delivery.
You name it, I got it! I am quite pleased to come across such an example of a 928.

Just another update...

Greg Brown is currently doing the major, water pump, Tranny service, something to do with the steering rack, not exactly sure what.
It is there now. I will let everyone know how it turns out.
From what I have been told, Mr. Brown is one of the best.
I am eagerly waiting for the car to come back near perfect

Well, here's a silver '89 to compare it to, with similiar miles. I'll attach the Carfax as well for your viewing. At least this give you an idea of something to compare it too...

Good luck either way!

Todd

P.S. I just read thru the entire thread. Congrats on your purchase. Just ignore this one now!
