LOL...it's just the opposite when it comes to us. When Jennifer and I, first moved in together years back, she was going through some stuff and found an old picture she seemed quite proud of when she was a little girl. She brought the picture over and prefaced it with something like..."This gives you an idea of how my Mom used to dress me when I was 3". She showed me the pic and I jumped up and said "WHOA, look at that Cadillac!!!" It was a mid 50's red, pristine car with big white sidewalls dripping with chrome. She was standing in front of her dad's car. She still tells this story to people today.

But honey, it won't cost much to rescue it. Never mind the $8-10k on interior leather from Paul or Rob, the $10000 paint job (inside, outside and underside), the $7500 engine rebuild, the $5k suspension, the $4500 brakes/rotors and the various insundry nuts bolts and bushings. Now add headers and a full exhaust at ~$4000 custom exhaust - gotta sound good. Now, for wheels and tires your looking at $10k just to get them to fill out the wheel wells. Probably have to redo the top at $5k. You'l also need a kick *** stereo so spend another $10k on a decent unit. Now, who here is going to spend $65k large rescuing this car plus the cost of the car. I would do it in a miniute but my wife is the problem.
- The dash and pod looked fine. No warping, no cracks. No change.
- Seats - I'm thinking vinyl maybe the better solution for a droptop. $1500 Installed - From Rob Budd's site.
- New clutch - $1k
- Replaced Tranny - If sourced appropriately - $2500
- New Wheels/Tires - if you find a good source - $4k
- Stereo - Nice Alpine MP3 Detachable face with Ipod input, 10" woofer, amp, new speakers, $800
- Front end reseal, camtower gasket replacement, wp/tb - $600
- New master / slave cylnder - $200
- Misc engine upgrades/enhancments - $1000
- New brakes - $400
YMMV - This assumes work done by yourself...

The interior is in perfect condition. You are right it is a little bit of dust. I am right now in Mexico and can't get anymore pictures from the inside.

OK. Was it anyone here that bought it? Someone used the "buy it now" option and bought it for $19,800. I hope it went to a lister but I doubt it did. The winning bidder was zoniechick( 4 ) With a feedback rating of 4 its likely that this car will be up for sale again.
