Default car show in vero beach area

so i go to this lame car show (well i didn't know it was lame 'til i walked around). pull in the entrance and guess what...
a 928 right in front of mine.
i was like whooooooa.
the lady took my money for the parking and said... just pull up to that officer and follow the porsche...
haha, yes ma'am.
anyway. i found out that guy got a '81 from california. he bought her for 7k on ebay.
the paint looked darn good. interior as well.
but it didn't have the optional pod-crack.
i told him about rennlist and about the big 3 (carl and andrew and such).
and also about 928oc.
the show was lame but it still made my day, wonder why
just a little story for your reading pleasure

Thanks for the post. Before my dad passed away in 2005, my parents lived in Vero Beach from 1989 to 2005, and just about every year, my wife and I would drive down from Nashville to visit my folks and enjoy the scenery in and around Vero. It's amazing how much Vero grew during that 15 year period. My mom has since moved Dayton Ohio to live near my two sisters. I really miss hanging out in Vero Beach. The town doesn't have much night life, but when you're married, who needs night life, right? I do miss Captain Hiram's on the water, in Sebastian.

I wished I had known this was going on! I lived in Vero between from 1989 til 1993. My parents owned a condo on the beach south of town, and I lived there while I flight instructed.

There's a park near the north bridge, on the ocean side "Riverside Park" I think they call it. I kept my sailboat diagonally across the river, at Vero Marine center when I lived there.

Most people call it "Zero Beach", but I had a good time there. Again, I bought a sailboat, a motorcycle....you get the idea.

N!
