Almost Spring - Bored with Snow - Garage Makeover
Wednesday - 78 degrees, Friday/Saturday 8" of fresh spring snow... damn it.
So, what else to do, but a garage makeover. Have been wanting to do this for a while and as the roads are a mess, might as well fix up the garage.
Bought Coleman cabinets, work bench top and light. Put down one of the coin vinyl floors too. All I need now is a kwik lift and stock up the refrig with my favorite beverage.
Like everyone says, thread is no good with out pictures, so here are a few:

After:
Cars back in, now wife is asking when I am going to get her a MB/AMG flag for her bay:
Waiting for Carl to start shipping the true dual exhaust, hopefully in time for SITM.

Ernest,
Sure did get to drive it, pretty awesome sedan, do have to fight wife for the key when we go out. Plenty of umph, handles great, nice family car. Thanks for the link to the AMG flag.
Andrew, not enough room for a lift, need to be a few feet wider. Never thought I would be getting so involved when I built the house, otherwise house would have been smaller, garage MUCH bigger.

Think the only complaint to the AMG E-se-edan was the steering feel because of the use of a recirulating ball rack. I think.
One of those 1/2 height scissor lift would probably fit.
Don't forget to strenghten the garage floor before you install that 2 post lift.
Was it 8" or 12" deep 4 foot square re-bar'ed concrete slabs that need to be inserted into the garage floor.
Remember that cool pic some time back of that massive 3 or 4 bay garage with upper storey parts storage.
