Hey, I had a call from a guy claiming to be Justin today. We don't have caller ID, so I can't verify, but he said he was. He even said he may be able to drive down to the race on Saturday morning...

Guess I need to get on the ball and check out those corral tickets. We just bought tickets at the gate last year, but didn't have reserved seats. There are several free grandstands available, but the reserved grandstands have better views and a big screen to watch the action on other parts of the track.

BTW, if anyone is bringing kids, they are free. They didn't mention it on the web site last year.

My son and I will probably be there late morning or early afternoon, not sure yet.

Let me know if anyone wants to take the scenic route home on Sunday. You can stop by Cypress (290 NW of town) and help me with my euro, or slap on some motor mounts on the 86.5! Then I'll map you out a really fun country route back to I45.

Did anyone else have problems buying the Poscheplatz passes from the Ticketmaster web site? I'm trying to buy Saturday only, but a password is required. The instructions say to put a "K" in front front of the password for Saturday, and use all caps, so I'm entering "KPORSCHE" and it's not accepting it.

Thanks that worked.

Got to love that "order processing fee" on top of the "convience charge". The $20 parking pass became $30.50. O well, it will be a fun time.

Is there any set time the DFW gang will be in the Porsche coral area? Hopefully we can park all the sharks together.

We're doing general admission and should be arriving by noon or shortly after.

Don, we'd planned on maybe doing breakfast prior, where we could all meet, and then head to the track.

BTW, I can't stand Ticketmaster.

I am assuming that you want to get an early start. There is a denny's just a couple of miles from Reliant Park. What do you think?

That's cool. No need to get out at the crack of dawn, it'll be a long day. Maybe meet at 8:30 or 9 to eat? Rick Jaffe had said something early on here about looking at his stable, I think he was close too.

I don't think my son and I will be able to make breakfast, but we'd like to hook up with the gang at some point. Maybe Rog or Ed can PM me a cell phone#, and we'll just check in when we get there and see where everyone is at. I'm thinking we'll be at the coral around noon or so.
