Default Compression Test Numbers

Well, I just finished a compression test on my '84 EuroS2 and I'm pleased with the numbers. 192K on the odometer.
1- 175
2- 170
3- 170
4- 170

5- 170
6- 165
7- 170
8- 170
variation +/-1 psi

I searched the forum for other compression numbers and found some consistency with what I've posted.

I just thought to throw out these number for anyone looking for a benchmark.

Warm engine? Cold? Oil in cylinder? Dry?

Offhand they look good.

Yep.. looks like you're ready for a super charger, or a baby. Your choice.

Cold engine, no oil, 5 cranks per.

Yea, I wish I would've warmed it up first...

A supercharger huh? I wish. Too many projects in the que and not enough moolah.
...no more buns in the over for while. One baby and one 928 is good for me.

Man, those are beautiful numbers, and especially so considering the mileage!
