Here is an update on the head gasket. Barr's head gasket repair is a complete waste of time. Made absolutely no difference, but was a worth a shot. I spoke with fellow VA 928 rennlister "High-Brass" over the phone last night and he was incredibly helpful and filled me in on some tricks from his experience. I'm ordering the entire gasket set and starting the tear down today. I received the tech manual from Jim Morehouse on cd the other day and if anyone doesn't have it GET IT! It is extremely informative and cheap for the amount of information it provides. I'm sure there will be headaches along the way, but if you own a 928 you might as well know how to work on it. Also thinking about polishing the plenum and spider. With a little luck I can make it to SITM!
