Talking Ahem... I'm not really posting this...

I am kind of thinking...

...about, well....

...fnding another 928....

...it would have to be really cheap to get into. Real cheap. Like "wow that thing is going to cost more to restore than it will be worth when it's done" cheap.

If you guys get wind of any rolling runners, any year, under 1000 bucks, close enough to St Paul, MN, to drive back on 6 or 7 cylinders, let me know...

But I didn't really post this. Not if my wife asks, anyway...

So what your saying is, any 928 will fit the bill? Welcome back to the dark side. It was Brett's thread about the lady cop that pushed you over the edge wasn't it.

Thad

If you suddenly got the urge to sell the 993 for what you're looking to spend on a 928....look me up!

Thad,

So now that you have owned both a 993 (one of my dream cars) and the 928 can you post or if you don't feel comfortable PM your opinion and comparison of the two cars and their capabilities?

Sorry off topic

So I take it if OT were open you would have a thread asking about good ways to keep a storage unit hidden from the wife?

There is a cherry 86 here you could probably get for 5500. High mileage though 153k

The 993 and 928 are such totally different rides, there really isn't a way to do a meaningful comparison.

I love them both. I just want a 928 to tinker with on weekends. IS THAT SO WRONG?!?

Thaddeus - I just spotted a 86.5 auto on a mom and pop used car lot (no price listed). I don't know if he knows what a 928 is but I'll get you some particulars and pics this week.

1. I'm not surprised... I expected this sooner or later.

2. Now that OT is closed, you need something meaningful to do.

Glad to have you back!!!
