Hmm, I did consider changing it out since I had one, but decided that since it held vac that I'd just put it together and check other things out. I think I will go in and replace it now. Thanks for the advice. Should I ask where you had to dig in to to clean all that dirt?

I just finished changing the Y connector at the charcol canister, it was busted. I think my car could shed 300lbs if I was able to get rid of all the dirt that has accumlated in odd spaces.
